3 Asian properties in World’s Top 10 most loved luxury hotels

The best 50 luxury hotels of 2016 have been selected by world travelers. The rating process has been facilitated by Hotels.com, an online booking accommodation website, obtaining responses from over 20 million hotel guests. In particular, hotel guests might have their own definitions of luxury when it comes to hotels.
Among the top 10 most loved luxury hotels, there are three hotels in Asia: W Taipei in Taipei, Taiwan; Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok in Thailand; and Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. For guests staying at these hotels, luxury is in the form of private man-made beach, of a room with a spectacular view of the river or the city, or of a rooftop bar. Notably, USA is the country with the highest number of hotels within the top 10.
