A new option for travellers close to Thailand’s popular Chaweng Beach on Koh Samui island is due to start accepting guests early next year.
With 129 rooms, a restaurant, swimming pool and rooftop bar, the venue is to target young Thais, and guests largely from other Asian countries, and the cost of breakfast and Wi-Fi will be included in the overnight rates.
Behind the development is Destination Resorts which has just signed the deal with AccorHotels, and the full name of the new hotel is to be ibis Styles Samui Chaweng Beach.
In terms of location, the hotel is just seconds from the Central Festival Samui shopping mall and the Hard Rock Cafe Samui.
The opening will bring to three the number of ibis Styles hotels in Thailand.
