
When undertaking a trip, the first thing a traveler wants to be sure about is accommodation. And booking your accommodation well in advance can only give you absolute peace of mind. If so, Hong Kong travelers are in the forefront, booking their accommodation at least six weeks in advance, according to the results of Agoda’s most recent Travel Smart Study
Following close on the heels of Hong Kong travelers are those from Taiwan, Australia and Russia, who take the second spot by booking their accommodation about 40 days ahead of their trip, a study that covered millions of booking done by Agoda travelers across the world in 2015 reveals.
People venturing out from the UK do their bookings, on average, 34 days in advance, which is 10 days over the global average. Chinese travelers prefer to book their accommodation on average 32 days before check-in. The Spanish and Americans are found making their bookings 25 and 23 days in advance respectively.
