Akaryn Group makes overseas debut with Vientiane hotel

The President by Akaryn, scheduled to open in June in Vientiane, will be Thai hotel chain Akaryn Hotel Group‘s maiden overseas launch.
Sandwiched betwen Parliament and the Emerald Buddha hall, the hotel will have 30 guest rooms and two presidential suits.
Stating that the Vientiane hotel came as a gift from China to the people of Laos, Anehalika Kijkanakorn, founder and managing director of Akaryn, said the company had entered into a 10-year agreement with a Lao mining company for the construction.
Thai firm Rocklike Company has undertaken to renovate the hotel, which will be the most luxurious hotel in Vientiane as well as in Laos, she said, adding half of the property’s revenue would be realized from the rooms and the remaining from food and beverage.
Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam are the other countries that Akaryn was focusing on. Check out the hotel’s website here http://www.akaryn.com/president/resort/
