Coming up in the fourth quarter of this year, Centara Grand Hotels & Resorts will open a new high-end property in one of Thailand’s most accessible resort towns.
The Centara Grand Resort & Spa Pattaya is located in the center of Pratumnak Hill’s residential area and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Pattaya itself is about an hour’s drive from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Decorated in a subtle “underwater world” theme, a nod to the nearby ocean, resort designers took special care to include a number of comforts and conveniences for families. More than a third of guestrooms offer two double beds, a simple solution for mom, dad and kids. Even better are the family residences that boast a children’s’ area with bunk beds and a separate tub and shower. All rooms include flat-screen televisions and WIFI access. Many have views of the ocean through large windows.
Centara Grand Resort & Spa Pattaya is not just limited to families. Couples looking for romance and groups of friends looking for fun will find plenty to do throughout the hotel and in rooms with king-size beds. There’s a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center and several restaurants and bars/lounges. Award-winning Spa Cenvaree has a menu of indulgent massages with signature Spa Cenvaree oils and facials featuring Jurlique skin care products.
Diners can snack and sip next to the sharks at Oceana, the resort’s all-day dining venue complete with exotic shark tank. The flavors are Thai-inspired with a focus on in-season local produce. Plates of Italian-inspired cuisine and good old-fashioned comfort foods can be found at Altezza on the resort’s rooftop. Bistro offers a more intimate setting with deli-style foods as well as wine and cheese. Morning pick-me-ups including coffee and pastries are on tap at Espresso. After a swim, guests can grab a refreshing drink at Pearl’s sundeck. Those staying in select rooms will also have access to the Club Lounge and its five daily meal presentations.
Centara Grand Resort & Spa Pattaya will be having a soft opening from August 2013. (What is a soft opening?)
