Centara strengthens their hold in Krabi
With the opening of Centara Phu Pano Resort Krabi on October 23rd 2016, Centara Hotels & Resorts, the largest hotel operator in Thailand brings their presence in Krabi to three. In the land of “Avatar” movie like limestone crags reaching for the sky from the aquamarine depths of Phang Nga Bay where there are over 100 islands to explore, this latest offering to the accommodation scene of Krabi will further enhance Centara’s hotel portfolio.
Krabi is a water wonderland dressed up in island shores of mangrove forests, boulders smothered in jungle jutting into the warm waters and Railay Beach, a rock-climbing enthusiast’s playground. Within the vicinity of the newest addition under the Centara umbrella, there is James Bond Island to frolic on and Phi Phi Islands to beachcomb. The resort is located 45 minutes by road from the Krabi International Airport and when you want to explore Phuket, it is only two and a half hours away.
Uber modern, it is a sleek playground for those that want to mingle a beach environment with a city feel, where no compromise has been made in relation to its amenities and convenient location. Sitting in Ao Nang, it is moments away from bustling shops, entertainment venues of the Thai variety and numerous long tail boats for island excursions. Hooking into the “affordable” market niche where quality exceeds expectations for the leisure pleasure seeker or a business junket, there will be 158 guest rooms. Configurations of guest rooms include Superior, Superior Pool View and Residences complete with bunk beds for those that either want to bring their kids, or if you can’t escape without them, or sans the rug rats but you just want to spread out in style. You won’t need to worry about moving too far when the hunger pangs attack, as there will be an in-house restaurant to keep everyone happy and a bar to satisfy those in need of a refreshing beverage or two. You will be able to wallow in the swimming pool without being hit in the head by a child’s foot, as they have their own slice of kiddy heaven to splash in. For those that need the adrenalin pumping rush each morning, there is a Fitness Center to work out the body. Whether it is a serious business conference or a nod and wink junket type, Centara Phu Pano Resort Krabi has a 150sq m dedicated Meeting Room to get serious in.
