Khao Lak is a vicinity comprised of more than fifty distinct islands. It is located off the western part of Thailand’s mainland. Although Thailand is itself a tourist beacon, the district of Khao Lak qualifies all on its own as a tourist mecca.
Not only does it have facilities and charm and vistas up the wazoo, the temperature is a warm and beckoning average of 74-89 degrees, with two major variants, specifically hot and dry and cool and wet. There is a volatile season that features high wind and lots of rain. It is not the best choice for travellers and in fact, most businesses shut down for this brief interim.
Otherwise, there is a lovely old-world village for travellers to peruse, besides waterfalls and beaches and caves, a picture-takers, rock-climbers spelunker’s and memory-makers paradise come true.
