Kata Rocks boasts 34 ultra-lux Sky Villas. Each has its own infinity pool that looks out of the azure-blue ocean. The design of the villas incorporates the use of both the indoors and outdoors as living space with rooms spilling out onto spacious terraces. Comforts and technologies are controlled by on an iPad, provided by the resort. Luxury bathrooms are stocked with Lemongrass House, Phuket bath products. Guest villas range in configurations from Ocean Sky Villa Lofts to the four-bedroom Penthouse Sky Villa.

Looks like some great things happening in Kata. Some already amazing properties there – with Mom Tris Villa Royale and The Shore by Katathani. But having been to Kata Rocks and stayed in the property overnight (currently in soft-opening) I found it to be streets ahead of some of the best luxury resorts in Phuket… Looking forward to staying there when it officially opens its doors for bookings in January 2014…
