The Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand is putting down stakes on the fashionable and buzzing Sukhumvit Road of Bangkok. The Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok is scheduled to open in May of 2013 with accommodations, restaurants and amenities that will attract both tourists and business guests alike.
The 285 guest rooms and 35 suites at the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok are decorated in blonde wood and cream, off-white and light browns. This, along with glass walls enclosing the bathrooms, makes the guest rooms feel bright and spacious. Free-standing bathtubs and separate showers with both rainfall and handheld showerheads are also staples at the hotel. Suites include separate living, working and dining spaces and come with the bonus of entry into the Executive Lounge and its complimentary breakfasts, afternoon teas, and early evening cocktails. Guests of the executive rooms also have this privilege as well as workstations with ergonomic chairs in their rooms.
When it’s time to take a break from the heat and humidity of Bangkok, guests can escape to the rooftop infinity pool or to the 24-hour fitness center with sauna and steam room. Dining options at the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok range from Asian and Italian dishes at the open-kitchen concept restaurant Cucina to small plates served at Tapa restaurant. Tapa also features a whiskey cabinet and whiskey tasting table set out an outdoor deck with sweeping views of the city.
All of this adds up to a great hotel anywhere but don’t discount the location of the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok as a major reason for guests to stay. Sukhumvit Road is famous for being filled with worldwide corporations, fantastic shopping and Bangkok’s never-ending entertainment scene. The hotel is located next to luxury shopping complex The Emporium and close to Benjasiri Park.
Best of all, the Phrom Pong BTS Skytrain station is 500 meters from the hotel making the city easily accessible to visitors.
Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok will be an HHONORS Reward Category 4 hotel.
