How to merge your Marriott, Starwood Preferred Guest accounts

After the merger last year of Marriott and Starwood, the now combined hotel loyalty and reward program allows you to earn and redeem points for stays in over a massive 6,700 hotels worldwide! It will take a generation for any other hotel loyalty program to surpass the choice now offered by the combined group.
You may have already combined your SPG and Marriott accounts, but now you will be prompted to merge them next time you log in to either the SPG or Marriott sites. Go to the link at the bottom of this article for important points you should know before you start the merge.
