Staying at the Krabi Ao Nang Hotel set to open in November 2014, will put you right in the middle of this amazing adventure hot spot on the southern tip of Thailand’s Andaman coastline. Located twenty-five minutes by car from the Krabi Airport, the city center of Krabi is two kilometers from the hotel. So even though you are not in the thick of the bustling tourist area, it is within reach via an easy tuk tuk ride.
Krabi is the stepping off point for exploring a world of littered archipelagos and limestone formations bursting from the ocean’s depths. Having a fairytale other worldly appearance, this area was surely used as an inspiration for the movie Avatar. Hidden beaches accessible only by boat, amazing snorkeling and clear crystal water which appears to go on forever. Many beautiful islands float majestically in this part of the world and are easily reached by long tail boat. Take a trip to a waterfall, or one of the many stunning beaches that dot the fringe of the ocean along this coastline of water volcanoes.

Each room is equipped with black-out curtains, a spacious bathroom and soundproofed. The hotel has 206 rooms in total, 3 of which cater for people with reduced mobility. Both standard and family interconnecting rooms are on offer, with free Wi-Fi throughout and complimentary breakfast. Bicycles can be hired and there is an on-site swimming pool. Business communication and meeting necessities are above the normal for that important meeting or conference. An international cuisine restaurant, specializing in authentic Thai dishes compliments The Lobby bar, where all day tapas dining is to be had.
Their promise is “comfort without boundaries” and with 24 hour reception, both hot and cold food available 24 hours a day and a bar that never shuts, Ibis may very well come through.
