Marriott Executive Apartments coming to Thonglor

Sharing a premises and facilities with the Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit allows guests to enjoy top hotel facilities in the space and comfort of executive apartments.

Hotels are great for a few days or even weeks of travel. But what about months of business travel? The typical room might start to feel too sterile and too small. The Marriott hotel brand thinks they have the solution and it’s just about to launch their fourth such solution in Bangkok.

The Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok, Sukhumvit Thonglor’s doors will open this coming March.Located in the same building as the Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, the properties will bring Marriott’s Thai hotel property portfolio to 17.

The hotels share more than just a building; they also have easy access to the BTS Skytrain via the Thonglor station as well as a close proximity to a number of Bangkok’s museums, boutiques, nightclubs and other entertainment.

Executive apartment guests will also be close to some more daily recreation type activities like a jogging trail, a rock climbing wall and bowling and mini golf venues. Guests staying at the Executive Apartments Bangkok Sukhumvit Thonglor also have access to all the facilities of the Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, including restaurants and bars, pool and room service. Both the hotel and the apartments share the same entrance and check-in desk.

Accommodations at the Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok, Sukhumvit Thonglor include 74 rooms spread throughout eight floors as well as six meeting rooms containing a total of 933 square meters of space. Configured in one, two and three bedroom layouts, all rooms come with kitchens equipped with ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, flatware and pots and pans. Bathrooms are done in marble with separate showers and spray jet tubs and come with hair dryers and makeup mirrors. 42-inch LCD televisions, wireless Internet (for a fee,) and multiple phone lines make it easy to stay informed and in communication.

Dining options include Café 57, an international a la carte or buffet restaurant with an emphasis on Middle Eastern, African and Asian flavors. Cru Steaks and Grills features fresh fish and beef on the grill. For the more grab-and-go guest, the Chocolate Cake Company offers deli-style sandwiches, salads, pastries, desserts and coffee.

Octave Bar, on the roof of the hotel building is the perfect place for a sunset nosh after a successful day doing business. The round bar in the center of the deck is reminiscent of SkyBar at Lebua at State Tower, which was famously featured in the movie Hangover 2.

Located on the 40th floor, Octave is open from 5pm to 1 am daily.

For an alternative form of relaxation after business hours, the Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok, Sukhumvit Thonglor also features an outdoor pool, fitness center and spa. Menu choices include body wraps and scrubs, massages at the spa or in-suite, mani/pedis and waxing.

This the fourth Marriott Executive Apartments in Bangkok after the Mayfair Marriott on Langsuan, Sukhumvit Park on Sukhumvit soi 24 and Sathorn Vista on Sathorn Road South.
