Mövenpick seals new hotel trio in Thailand

Recently there has been a new seal for Movenpick with a new hotel trio in Thailand. In particular the Swiss hotel group sealed new properties in Bangkok, Khao Yai, as well as Phuket. This particular deal was with real estate developer Nusasiri and will see two hotels opened from it. All of this will take place before the end of 2016 except for the Phuket location which will take place in 2017.

Key Points:

  • Located close to the UNESCO-listed Khao Yai National Park, three hours’ drive from Bangkok
  • Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai will feature 114 rooms, suites and villas, plus a European-style “clubhouse” containing a restaurant, bar, café, meeting space, swimming pool, fitness centre and spa.
  • Facilities will include a restaurant, beach club, meeting space, a kids’ club, three swimming pools, a fitness centre and spa.

“The deal with real estate developer Nusasiri will see Mövenpick open two hotels, located in Bangkok and Khao Yai, before the end of 2016, and a third, in Phuket, in the fourth quarter of 2017.”
