A bad news/good news update now on the Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok.
First, the bad news: the opening date has been pushed from fall 2013 toFebruary April 1, 2014. The good news: we got a sneak peek at the plans for the interior of the property and it looks like the wait will be worth it.

A new property is moving into Pattaya to cash in on what some believe is an untapped market. [email protected] Pattaya will be a four-star property located on the corner of Soi 2 and Second Road in North Pattaya, near Central Festival shopping mall. Developers believe it will stand out amongst other two and three-star properties in the area.
“There is room for four-star hotels due to the resort’s location close to Bangkok and the costs are not that high,” says managing director Kla Kitchakarn. “Pattaya has reinvented itself with a much wider market base.”

Big ideas become reality with small steps and that’s just what ONYX Hospitality Group was focused on when they broke ground on the OZO Chaweng Samui last year.
The opening of this resort has been delayed until January 2014. See updated post with more photos here.
Now they’re planning to open the resort by the end of this year, bringing the company one step closer to a goal they set for themselves just a few years ago.
The OZO Chaweng Samui is set on a beautiful stretch of Samui coastline beach, yet only a short stroll to the excitement of Chaweng. The resort will feature a swimming pool, children’s pool and beach bar feet from the sand. Also planned are two restaurants and what’s described as “innovative communal zones.” There will be 208 “sleep inducing” guestrooms offering peaceful havens for guests and a place to recharge. It seems the owners at OZO have their ear to the ground as they offer one of the most requested amenities at hotels and resorts, free wifi internet throughout the resort!
