Nikki Beach Resort brings the party to Samui

White is the New Black at Nikki Beach Hotel & Spa Phuket
There are times when all-white isn’t appropriate: a Western-style wedding where you’re not the bride, a rib-eating contest, most exercises not involving a tennis racquet. Then there are times where it’s luxe and posh and perfectly fitting. The Nikki Beach Hotel & Spa Phuket seems to have that fine line down pat. On the 1st of July 2013 they opened their new property adorned in all-white sun beds, draperies and linens in southern Thailand’s famed beach locale.
The Nikki Beach brand was started in 1998 by Jack Penrod who had the goal of creating the ultimate beach club. A combination of entertainment, dining, fashion, art and film, the brand’s hotel properties can now be found in 11 cities in eight countries.
The Nikki beach Hotel & Spa Phuket is a 5-star property with 174 guestrooms. Accommodation choices range from suites to villas to sky level penthouse villas. All rooms have freestanding bathtubs as well as comfort and technology at the touch of a button. Top-end sky villas boast private balconies with gardens and pools.
Concerns for the environment resulted in a number of special building methods at the hotel. Green living walls are stacked with plants to create shade and act as a natural cooling element. Rooms are constructed with low-energy consumption LED lights and water fixtures.
Public spaces of Nikki Beach Hotel & Spa Phuket include a main pool with swim-up bar as well as a rooftop infinity pool and bar. For mind and body, there’s a high-end spa and external yoga area. A wine and cigar lounge provides a space for aficionados. A complimentary shuttle transports guests to and from Nikki Beach Club & Restaurant, Phuket. The plush hot-spot features cool cocktails and champagne in addition to flavorful dishes like sushi, seafood, salad and slow-roasted free-range rotisserie chicken. Nikki Beach Club & Restaurant, Phuket hosts special events including happy hours, brunches and seafood nights.
