Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20

Opening in April 2016, Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20, sits in the heart of Bangkok’s famous shopping and restaurant district of Sukhumvit.  Accessible by tuk tuk or a short walk from the Sukhumvit MRT and Asoke BTS stations, you will be thrust into this vibrant hub that never sleeps.

Overflowing in dynamic restaurants, funky bars, hip night clubs, luxury hotels, decadent day spas and shopping venues to make any shopaholic swoon in delight, the Sukhumvit area is exclusive, distinctly cosmopolitan and upmarket, where many Western expatriates choose to reside. It is the perfect area from which to base yourself for exploring Bangkok and all it has to offer.

The guest rooms of which there are 244 including family and executive suites, are all spacious, contemporary and totally livable.  There is an Executive Club Lounge if you pay the extra for the privilege of being on the Executive Level and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.  Natural shades enhance the stainless steel highlights in the streamlined well thought out clean lines in each room.  All rooms feature flat screen TVs, mini-bars and in-room safety boxes.  Interconnecting rooms are available upon requests, as are smoking rooms if desired. The Executive Rooms have the added benefit of an espresso machine for the caffeine addicts, express check-in and the complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails in the Sky Lounge.   The spacious Corner Suite includes not only the benefits of the Sky Club Lounge, but a VIP check-in upon arrival.

If you don’t wish to take to the streets in search of some “curb de cuisine” there are plenty of in-house alternatives to satisfy the hunger pangs when they strike. The “Food Exchange” will be dishing up an International menu of Western and Asian fare where you can leisurely partake of a Sunday Brunch of gourmet roasts and free flowing wine that will make you groan in delight.  The “Gourmet Bar” has an informal and friendly vibe that will have you meeting friends for a drink or a casual meal here.  Whilst the “Pool Bar” is for those that linger by the swimming pool and wish to stay in that relaxed holiday mode of never leaving your sun lounge even to eat or drink a cocktail or two.  At night in the aftermath of a heat infused day, you will be able to obtain your own nirvana sitting on the “Rooftop Bar” overlooking the twinkling Bangkok skyline with a mouthful of Mexican cuisine and sipping on a sinful cocktail concoction, a delicate wine or an imported beer or two.

Families can let their kids loose in the dedicated kids’ pool or shuffle them off to the kids’ club.  Business meetings are more than catered for and there is a Grand Ballroom for those special events. For those in need of a bit of lush pampering, the day Spa opens mid 2016.
