Personalized Stays, Spectacular Views at U Sunsuri Phuket

A memorable resort brings out the luxury touches before a guest even sets foot on property.
A great example of this is U Sunsuri Phuket Resort which recently opened its doors to guests. The resort’s U Choose program invites guests to customize their stay starting when they make their booking. That’s when guests are asked to select a choice of pillow, soap and tea. Want to enjoy a cup of Darjeeling tea before washing up for the night with jasmine-scented soap and laying your head down on an ultra soft microfiber pillow? No problem. Feel like changing it up with Earl Grey, lemongrass-scented soap and luxury duck down pillow? Consider it done.
The resort itself sits on a hillside in a secluded area of Nai Harn Beach with sweeping views of a lake, surrounding foliage and the ocean. The property is large and includes two swimming pools with bars, two restaurants, wine bar, gym, spa, library and event space for meetings or celebrations. Due to the size and variety of amenities, U Sunsuri Phuket Resort’s guest list is likely to include everyone from families to couples to honeymooners.
There are 132 rooms at U Sunsuri Phuket Resort. While rooms vary in size and certain special features like large bathtubs, all include spacious balconies, king or twin beds, large rain showers, LCD televisions, WIFI and air conditioning. Interiors are decorated in Thai contemporary style with dark woods and rich colors. As a bonus, U Sunsuri also boasts a unique “24-hour” room concept that allows guests to stay in their rooms for 24 hours after their arrival.
Food and beverages are offered anytime at the resort’s all-day dining venue, Sali, which kicks off the mornings with live cooking stations. Pancakes are flipped and donuts fried as guests watch. Lunch and dinner menus include both local and international flavors. Sip Wine Bar serves carefully selected top-shelf whiskies and malts alongside cocktails and tapas-style dining. Wines are stored in wooden barrels and guests are invited to taste before making their selections. Finally, Surf Pool Bar & Restaurant is a place to lay back, relax, and enjoy the weather along with a snack.
