Thailand’s James Bond location revealing the secret of the Bangkok hotelier

From Hollywood to the land of reality, the story of an island in Thailand named Ko Khao Phing Kan getting its name from none other than very famous never-ending Hollywood buzzword James Bond. The island is now know by James Bond Island as the movie “The Man With The Golden Gun” was shot here. Now it’s a famous tourist attraction.

The famous thriller writer John le Carré was inspired from a hotel in Thailand know by name The Mandarin Oriental which was on the banks of the Chao Phraya river.

And the dedication for serving can be linked best to legendary hotelier Kurt Wachtveitl for whom even the famous le Carré sent a letter reflecting how much he was impressed by his service.
