Cutting to the chase, here is a quick list of things to do in Phuket, besides enjoy the beautiful waters and the sun.
For 1000 baht, you can see a lady-boy show with fancy dancing and costumes at Simon Cabaret in Patong. The Trick Eye Museum will cost you about 500 baht to see; you will want to bring a camera and may prefer to take a taxi since it’s in town. You may want a massage for about 500 baht in one of many places. The Upside Down House will make you want to take pictures at a cost of 350 baht for adults. You may also be interested in visiting temples such as those at the Wat Chalong complex; be sure to read what not to do before visiting. You can visit Coral Island for some slightly crowded beaches or Khao Rang for shopping. Central Festival offers movies or Bang Wad Dam if you’d like exercise.
