Uber unveils partnership with LINE

Ride-sharing service UBER took steps to increase its availability and growth in Thailand. Although the government there has asked the service to temporarily stop doing business in order that a survey can be completed, the company has nevertheless partnered up with chat app LINE. Riders will soon be able to schedule a ride via the application; further, there will be no need to specify a destination if it is listed in the calendar function, thereby potentially increasing the efficiency of operations.
