Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay set to debut in November 2016

Clinging to a cliff face in Kalim Bay, with the Andaman Sea’s expansive blue waters centre stage on the playground of Phuket, the Wyndham Grand is set to open its doors in November 2016.

Phuket is internationally famous for its picture postcard perfect beaches, world-class golf courses and decadent restaurant scene.  A first on Phuket for the Wyndham Hotel Group, Club Wyndham Asia members will have access to the swanky apartments at the resort, once it is completed. The hotel management group have under their belts 8,000 properties around the globe with over 1,200 in the Asia Pacific Region under various brand umbrellas.

The Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay, sitting moments north of the tourist hordes that frequent bustling Patong, promises to be a decadent treat for both leisure and business travellers to this unique area of Thailand.  A mixed-use development with the largest number of pool villas in the Kalim-Patong region, the resort and its breathtaking views, gentle sounds of lapping waves and soft salt air breezes will leave any guest oblivious to the outside world.

Contemporary and stylish, the resort totals 214 elegant guestrooms of which 152 are sinful pool villas with outdoor sundecks and individual plus private infinity pools to skinny-dip in, overlooking the delicious sparkling water.  The unrestrained indulgence seamlessly morphs from each guestroom’s plush interior to the outside picturesque view.

When you have had enough privacy and seclusion with some wanton behaviour thrown in for good measure and you wish to swan around the resort, there are 2 outdoor swimming pools to take a dip in, a spa for some shameless Thai traditional treatments and a fully equipped gym to whip some muscles back into shape.  If you couldn’t escape home without the kids in tow, there is a kids’ club to keep them occupied, instead of under your feet.

For that total over the top special event, the resort’s ballroom decked out with expansive glass panels creates the flawless backdrop for extravagant occasions.  The 2 in-house restaurants are for when you don’t wish to venture into the real world, dishing up both traditional Thai and international cuisine, where once again your eyes can feast not only on the creation on your plate, but on the endless diamond twinkling view.

The Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay with its incomparable setting, aims to offer the ultimate quintessential resort to run to.
